The Move-Smooth Concept
The Move Smooth system is unique, offering customers a real alternative to using a full service removal company or hiring a van.
At the heart of the operation is a unique patent pending trailer and container system designed to offer ultimate flexibility for moving home.
A container is delivered to a customer days before their move, they then pack it in their spare time.
We move the container to the new home where the customer can unpack the container at their own pace: collecting the container when they have finished.
In addition we provide a loading and unloading service where required which is an additional income opportunity. Some customers want us to move just a few heaver items and others want us to do more.
Customers can choose how long they want a container and how much help they need.
In addition to the removal itself you gain additional revenue from the hire of the container as On-site storage helping to build a passive income.
Who We Look For
We are looking for people with the desire to run their own business as part of the Move Smooth brand and join our successful team as an independent business operator with the back up and support of our experienced marketing team.
We are looking for people who have a passion for meeting people and providing excellent customer service.
We have both Part Time and Full Time opportunities for people who hold a standard full UK driving licence with part C1E (ability to tow a trailer) and who can lift 35KG of weight.
We are looking for people to help grow a national network.
Our Full Time opportunities are ideal for single handed operation and two person teams expand the opportunities and flexibility further.
No prior experience in removals is needed as all training is provided.
Removal Company Option
We offer existing removal companies the opportunity to operate a bolt-on to their business, and we invite them to contact us for more detailed information
There is a potential for companies interested in operating on a larger scale to take multiple franchises.
Support & Training
Starting a business is the first step to owning a successful business but you need to continually grow and develop your business.
We provide a range of ongoing help and support and this is included in your quarterly support fees. We operate a 24 hour help line for all our Franchisees to ask any questions they have at anytime.
We ensure we have equipment which you can hire from us in the event you have a mechanical problem or just you are too busy to cope with the work with your current units.
We provide each franchisee with complete training to enable them to run their business, when you start you get a full 5 day training package including everything you need to know to run the business.
Marketing
We undertake a programme of national advertising of the Move Smooth Brand, a large proportion of the support fee goes into this activity.
Our website generates quote enquiries and we sort these enquires into geographical territories based on the address the person is moving from. We will supply leads to you via this website and the network of websites we have setup to attract enquiries.
Territory
We offer territories of 60,000 and 120,000 homes across the UK to match the level of investment and equipment needed to support that area. Register your interest in an area and we will let you know if it is available
Investment
We have a range of options to choose from and can customise a package to suite your needs. The investment required varies however you can expect to invest between £22,500 and £45,000.
Available Finance
Finance is available for up to 90% of the equipment costs of the franchise, or 75% of the whole franchise costs.
